Patricia Millard is from Merrillville, Indiana. In 2014 she received her Bachelors of Arts from Indiana University Bloomington. She currently lives and works in Bloomington, Indiana. Patricia stays active within her communities and hopes to pursue a Masters degree in the future. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, watching movies with friends, and playing video games with her partner.

Sonina Hernandez Mikkelsen

Sonina Hernandez Mikkelsen is originally from Sandy, Utah. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Communication and Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education. Currently she resides in West Lafayette, Indiana where she is an academic advisor in Health Sciences for Purdue University. For fun Sonina loves to travel with her husband, daughter, and fur baby. They enjoy seeing new places, getting to meet new people, trying new foods, and creating memories by spending quality time as a family.
Erica Pride

Erica Pride is currently a graduate student at Indiana University Northwest pursuing a Master of Social Work degree. In 2011, she graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Latino Studies.
She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and currently resides in Merrillville, Indiana where she works as a Social Services Director at a nursing facility. In her spare time, Erica enjoys watching television, spending time with her family and traveling
Christina Jesse

Christina Jesse is a current graduate student at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana pursuing a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning. She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2018 with Bachelors of Arts degrees in Environmental and Sustainability Studies, Gender Studies, and Media. Her work in the Media School focused on media production, advertising, and graphic design while her sustainability degree focused on the current implementations and future plans for sustainable food systems.
Upon completing her graduate schooling, Christina hopes to become an multifaceted urban planner and designer. She hopes to utilize previous design experience and environmental knowledge to specialize in sustainable food systems and urban agricultural development to combat the effects of food deserts in impoverished areas.
